  • PHILOSOPHY (Semester 1): Introduction to Philosophy: To understand our culture today, students need to know the ideas espoused by ancient thinkers like Plato andAristotle, Christian philosophers like Augustine and Aquinas, and molders of modern thought such as Kant and Nietzsche. This course will reveal the influence their ideas have had on world events, theology, and our everyday lives. NOTE: Although juniorhigh students can take this course, it is better suited for students from 9th grade through adult.

  • ETHICS (Semester 2): Christian Ethics Students will examine different ethical systems, as they develop a solid foundation for ethical reasoning based on the Christian worldview as described in God's Word. We will examine what the Bible teaches about specific ethical questions, abortion, same-sex marriage, cloning, etc., and refute the most prominent arguments of those who oppose Christian ethical positions. Suggested for 9th grade through adults.
