DESCRIPTION:

• Fundamentals of Math assists 7th grade students (6th if needed and higher if math is a struggle) in preparing for Pre-Algebra and  introduces a scope of subjects, and provides a base to help prepare for higher level math. Students will explore decimals, fractions, integers, area and volume, statistics, and more. Problem-solving and real-life uses of math are featured in each chapter. Dominion through Math exercises regularly illustrate how mathematics can be used to manage God's creation to His glory. Fundamentals of Math lays a solid foundation for higher level math courses. With this solid foundation, students will be able to excel in pre-algebra, which will provide a smooth transition to high-school math.

SPECIFICS:  IMPORTANT READ: This weekly recorded course will include 30 weeks of new recorded classes. Every day (Monday-Thursday) a 15 min recorded video will be posted. These recordings will cover one section of the material, and corresponding practice problems from the book will be assigned. 

• Students are expected to watch the daily video, read that section of the workbook, and complete the assigned problems for that day. Every Friday, students will take the quiz or exam which will be professionally graded by your teacher & assistant.

• In summary, this course will include one hour of recorded material each week (4-15 min videos) and graded quizzes and exams. Your teacher is available to answer questions through email at any time.
