Summary:  The student will survey church history from the time of Jesus and the apostles to the present day. Through lively story telling and easy to understand texts, they will examine the historical life of Jesus; the theology of the early church and reformation; Gnosticism and why it’s still relevant today; the fast spread and change of Christianity throughout the world since 1900; the decline in traditional mainline denominations; how technology has affected the proliferation of the gospel; and how Christianity relates to the many religions around the world.
